Music for the Healing Journey

lighting the path through grief
Everyone experiences loss. The pain of it tempts us to turn away. Life’s responsibilities and realities can argue they’re more important than meeting our loss.
The whole planet is grieving the many losses of the coronavirus pandemic. Music is one way to meet and interact with losses that cry out for processing.
Songs with personal meaning are often helpful, but there is also a vast treasure of music with emotionally stirring content that supports healing. This music helps us access our feelings, experience them, and emerge feeling uplifted and connected, even when we still feel sad.
This playlist is a start.
Listen in the way that feels right to you: one at a time or several.
If a particular song feels especially impactful, listen to it as many times as you need. Share the names of your favorite selections in the comment section.
Try humming or singing along.
May you listen and heal. And may you be inspired to seek out more music to light your path through grief and loss.

That doesn’t sound healing at all! Thanks for pointing it out. I was not able to recreate your experience. If you haven’t already managed to access the playlist, you might try clicking on “YouTube” in the lower right corner of the video–that opens the list in YouTube so you can listen there. OR just go to YouTube.com and search for miracarroll, then click on the Playlists tab. Please report back and good luck! ❤ ❤ ❤
